Sophon Activity WarningPDC/SAC/WARN-04 · Issued on 22 March, Year 4 of the Crisis Era Anomalies in global hadron collider experiments persist, and the collision window for this season has been postponed again. The public is urged to verify information regarding alleged "breakthroughs in fundamental physics" through this website and the national scientific institutions of member States, and to be wary of pseudoscientific projects seeking to profit from the situation. The Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee provided an explanation on the warning system for Sophon activities

22 March, Year 4 of the Crisis Era · Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee of the Planetary Defense Council · Document numberPDC/SAC/NOTE-02

In response to recent inquiries from certain media outlets and social networks regarding the dissemination mechanism for 'Sophon Activity Alerts,' the Science and Technology Advisory Committee issues the following unified clarification.

I. Nature of the Alert. Sophons cannot be directly detected by humanity. The alert is based on synchronized anomalies in global hadron collider network experiments that cannot be attributed to equipment or environmental factors. When the frequency and distribution patterns of such anomalies exceed the range of random fluctuations, the Committee issues alerts of the corresponding level in accordance with the 'Experimental Data Cross-Verification Protocol.' In other words, the alert reflects the interference activities of Sophons on fundamental physics experiments, rather than the 'monitoring' of Sophons themselves.

II. Current Status. Alert No. 4 (PDC/SAC/WARN-04) was issued on 22 March: The global collider window for this season continues to be postponed, with the next window expected no earlier than the third quarter of Year 4 of the Crisis Era.

III. Implications for the Public.

  • Sophon interference targets only fundamental physics experiments such as high-energy particle collisions and does not affect daily electronic devices, communications, or transportation.
  • Any commercial projects, fundraising campaigns, or investment products claiming to have 'broken through the Sophon blockade' or 'achieved new discoveries in fundamental physics' lack credibility. Please verify such claims through this website's Fact Check column or national scientific institutions of member States.
  • Scientific research has not ceased: Applied technology fields remain unaffected by Sophons. The Council is guiding scientific efforts toward engineering applications (see 'Explanation on Technology Lockdown').
