Observation methods

  • Tracking object: Electromagnetic glow of the fleet's propulsion systems. Long-term photometric and spectral monitoring is conducted by large-scale sky survey telescope arrays.
  • Distance measurement: A combination of multi-station parallax and brightness model inversion; error margins are derived from discrepancies among multi-station data.
  • Orbit change identification: If the fleet accelerates, decelerates, or maneuvers, multi-station data will simultaneously show identifiable deviations—this is also the reason why rumors regarding "fleet turning" can be verified.

Why does the data appear to remain "unchanged"?

Statement by the Head of the Administration Center at the time of the release of Fleet Position Bulletin No. 7: "Fleet navigation operates on an annual scale. In a cruising state, one year brings no significant changes—this is precisely the nature of the crisis: it is a war measured in four hundred years, and we must learn to interpret data on a four-hundred-year scale."
