Record of Questions and Answers at the 12th Hearing

The Hearing and Oversight Division of the Wallfacer Project Committee held its 12th regular hearing at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 14 March, Year 4 of the Crisis Era. The hearing was convened to review the "Draft Annual Execution Bulletin of the Wallfacer Project" (Document No. PDC/WF/RES-BULLETIN/03) and the arrangements for resource allocation and post-audit for the second year.

Answer (Director Cole): The data scope is subject to the final accounting by the Resource Allocation Division of the Wallfacer Project Committee. The first round of post-audit work was completed prior to the hearing, and no off-ledger fund flows were detected. Inquiry 2 (Deliberation of the Draft Annual Implementation Bulletin)

Does Wallfacer Rey Diaz's focus on research into weapons of mass destruction signify a shift in deterrence strategy? The Committee is requested to clarify.
Answer (Director Cole): In accordance with the Wallfacer Act, the Committee has no comment, because we do not know. The core design of the Wallfacer Project lies in the "absence of intention." The Committee is only responsible for making public the actions and resource utilization of the Wallfacers; it does not speculate, record, or relay their strategic intentions.

How does the Committee ensure that these studies do not deviate from the original purpose of the Wallfacer Project?
Answer (Director Cole): All research projects are operating within the public budget and project list. In accordance with the Wallfacer Act, the Committee has no comment, because we do not know. The content of the Wallfacers' research is part of their strategic intentions; the Committee does not intervene, review, or interfere.

Question (Representative of a Council member State): Some members of the public question whether the Wallfacer Project means entrusting the fate of humanity entirely to the "silence" of four individuals. Does this institutional design pose systemic risks?
Answer (Director Cole): The Wallfacer Project is an institutional choice for humanity in the Crisis Era. The Committee's duty is to ensure the openness and transparency of procedures, not to assume strategic responsibility on behalf of the Wallfacers. "Not knowing" is not dereliction of duty, but the original design intent of the Wallfacer Project.
