The table below is a chronology of major events related to the Wallfacer Project (as stated by the Committee). For the conversion between Crisis Era years and the Gregorian calendar, see the Document Centre on the parent station.

| March, Year 3 | The Wallfacer Project commenced; the list of four Wallfacers nominated by the permanent members was announced, and an appointment ceremony was held at United Nations Headquarters; the Wallfacer Project Committee was established on the same day. |

Background on the Selection of Wallfacers
- The four Wallfacers were selected and nominated by the permanent members, and the list was announced after confirmation by the Council;
- Three of them were world-renowned politicians and scientists, while the selection of the fourth (Luo Ji) caused a sensation in public opinion—the later public explanation was that the Trisolaran civilization had specifically ordered his assassination. The Committee’s official position was: the candidates were produced through due process, and the reasons constituted the judgment of the nominating States;
- Starting from the day following the announcement of the list, security measures for the four Wallfacers were comprehensively upgraded.
